Enjoy a taste of Hawai’i in every drop of Lava Bees delicious honey!  Lava Bees are buzzing around the beautiful Kalapana Red Road on the Big Island of Hawai’i where our hives are nestled on a 1955 lava flow.  Lava Bees gorge on the nectar from a nearby 880 acre state reserve forest filled with mango, avocado, coconut, and macadamia nut trees, as well as the native Ohia Lehua blossoms.  We are a small-scale, treatment-free, award-winning apiary utilizing both top bar and langstroth hives.   Keeping bees started out as just a hobby, but our bees are producing so much honey — we have to share it!  The honey from Lava Bees is pure, raw, and harvested and bottled with extreme attention to care and cleanliness.  Check out our products page to see what all the buzz is about!
